Combat Vehicle Robotics (CoVeR)
Under the CCDC GVSC Combat Vehicle Robotics (CoVeR) program, Neya is developing and customizing a suite of modular, field-proven, intelligent autonomy software modules (e.g. formation following, scout and rear security, split section, provide cover to the team, path planning, etc.) for combat vehicle platforms.
These capabilities have been fine-tuned through feedback from soldiers and have shown to be effective for use in combat vehicle operations, including operations in dense urban terrain.
We have focused on capability maturation and testing, ensuring that we are ready for safety testing via ATEC, and for the transition to the future selected Robotic Combat Vehicle-Unmanned.
Additional capabilities being developed include center-of-gravity reasoning & wheel placement, self-learning kinematics, person tracking, and dense terrain perception.
