About Us
Recognized Leader in Autonomous Systems for Complex, Outdoor Environments
Breaking ground in off-road autonomy since 2009.
Founded by renowned robotics entrepreneur Dr. Parag Batavia, Neya has designed, developed, and field-tested autonomous systems that solve some of the toughest outdoor challenges in both the defense and commercial industries.
Today, as a wholly owned subsidiary of ARA, Neya is continuing to advance the state of off-road autonomy. In addition to its groundbreaking work in perception, mission planning, and simulation, Neya is developing an advanced cybersecurity solution to enhance the protection, mitigation, recovery and adaptability of autonomous ground vehicles.
Neya: Our Journey of Innovation
Selected by U.S. Army for the DIU’s Ground Expeditionary Autonomous Retrofit System (GEARS) project to develop an autonomous solution that converts existing military vehicles into uncrewed vehicles.
Awarded contract from Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) of DoD to create a Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) plugin to coordinate and deploy unmanned, robotic platforms with CBRN sensors.
Cohort to focus on bringing commercial automation technology to artillery resupply.
Under the CCDC GVSC Combat Vehicle Robotics (CoVeR) program, Neya is developing and customizing a suite of modular, field-proven, intelligent autonomy software modules for combat vehicle platforms.
Neya Systems is working with multiple industry and federally-funded research and development centers to develop an amphibious autonomy capability focusing on operation in the surf zone.
ARA acquires Neya Systems. ARA has a strong foundation in unmanned and robotic systems across a variety of markets including military and first response applications.
The AEODRS program will create a family of unmanned ground vehicle systems with a high degree of interoperability for rapid integration of new technologies.
Neya Systems is included in this year's Fast Company’s top 10 list of most innovative robotics companies in the world.
When the Department of Defense expressed a need for robots to have higher levels of autonomy, Neya Systems came to the table with a solution by leveraging an Army SBIR award.
Founded by Parag Batavia, Neya Systems has been recognized worldwide for its contributions to advanced unmanned systems technology.
