Neya Systems, a provider of off-road autonomy and mission planning software, yesterday announced a new strategic initiative. The company says it will develop a cybersecurity standard for autonomous ground vehicles. Pittsburgh-based Neya Systems says the development effort will focus on enhancing the protection, mitigation, recovery, and adaptability of AGVs. The company says it will do this by applying Department of Defense (DoD) Zero Trust cybersecurity to its autonomy software.
