Neya Announces new Principal Engineer of Architectures and UAVs

Neya Systems is happy to announce that we have hired Doug Gregory as our new Principal Engineer focusing on Open Architectures and UAV systems. Doug has spent the last 10 years as Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at GD-AIS where led multiple Open Architecture standards groups, such as the UAS Control Segment Architecture, SAE-ASD which is the top-level organization under which JAUS resides, and chair of NATO NIAGs 72 and 97 on Weapons Interoperability and 125 on UAS Weaponiazation.
Doug’s expertise in UAS Interoperability and Architectures will allow us to expand our growing expertise in this area. Neya has been a strong supporter of open architecture efforts since our founding, and we strongly believe in the technical and business merits of OAs. Doug shares a similar viewpoint, and brings to Neya decades of experience in this area, concentrating on the actual deployment of these technologies with Army and Navy customers.
At Neya, Doug will maintain his leadership role within the UCS Working Group (www.ucsarchitecture.org), and will also focus on growing Neya’s OA capabilities with an emphasis on deployment of our OA-based software capabilities.
