Neya Systems Introduces “N-Drive” Autonomy

PITTSBURGH – Feb. 25 – Neya Systems, along with its parent company ARA, today announced the launch of N-Drive, a full-stack autonomy solution for unconstrained environments. Designed with security, flexibility, and interoperability in mind, N-Drive is designed to achieve zero human intervention in off-road environments, setting a new standard in autonomous performance and reliability.

Unlike any other autonomy solutions available today, N-Drive has been tested in nearly every terrain on earth using advanced simulation tools, including the company’s Virtual Integration and Simulation Environment (VISE), a 3D sensors and physics simulation software that is optimized for the integration and testing of autonomous systems. This allows N-Drive to achieve a level of reliability never before seen.

Built on the Unreal Engine, VISE digitally replicates how vehicles would respond to varying real-world forces like terrain, acceleration, and external conditions. By coupling N-Drive with VISE, operators can predict how an autonomous vehicle will react to changing environmental conditions without costly physical testing.

“N-Drive is a game-changer for offroad autonomy. By eliminating the need for human oversight, N-Drive is set to revolutionize both commercial and military applications, where safety and efficiency are paramount,” said Kurt Bruck, vice president, Neya Systems. “With this technology, we can drive anything—no matter what type of vehicle—providing our customers with the flexibility they need for their unique missions and strengthening the capability of our autonomous systems.”

Powered by an advanced AI reasoning module, N-Drive can analyze complex environments, adapt to dynamic conditions, and make intelligent decisions in real-time.  In addition, leveraging state-of-the-art perception capabilities from the company’s autonomous mining operations, N-Drive’s vehicle-agnostic architecture ensures full compatibility with a range of systems, including its Mission Planning and Management System (MPMS), as well as Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) and Warfighter Machine Interface (WMI).

N-Drive is Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) compatible, allowing for the seamless control of a wide variety of vehicles across diverse terrains and operational environments. As a MOSA-compatible system, N-Drive is designed to deliver efficient performance while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity, ensuring safe and reliable operation in any environment.
