THE FUTURE OF MINING: AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
Integrating autonomy into existing mining vehicles can significantly enhance both safety and productivity by delegating high-risk and repetitive tasks to autonomous systems. By incorporating Neya’s advanced perception systems into standard surface mining vehicles, the industry can effectively address safety concerns while improving operational efficiency. SIMULATION
In addition to our on-vehicle perception systems, Neya is able to simulate various operations through its Virtual Integration and Simulation Environment (VISE®), including loading, hauling, and dumping cycles. VISE® can also support other mining and construction behaviors, such as demolition tasks and pickup-and-fill. This enables mining operators to test the system before it goes “live” on a real vehicle.
FLEET MANAGEMENT
Neya’s years of experience with commercial fleet and mission planning management systems makes us uniquely positioned to assist with autonomous systems for the mining industry. Originally designed for military use, our Mission Planning & Management System allows users to task and multiple fixed platforms with a single operator. Integrating autonomous fleet management processes into an existing fleet of mining vehicles can help to combat challenges related to productivity and safety.
