Zachary Waller Joins Neya as Strategic Development Director  

In new role, Waller will help to drive Neya’s defense capabilities

PITTSBURGHJuly 10 — Neya Systems, a leading provider of off-road autonomy and mission planning software, today announced that Zachary Waller has joined the company as its strategic development director.  In this new role, Waller will be responsible for working alongside Neya’s engineering teams to ensure the company’s products and capabilities align with the strategic roadmap for the defense industry. In addition, Waller will help to shape and grow the future of Neya’s capabilities by bringing the future of robotics and autonomy to the front line.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Waller brings more than 20 years of technical, business development experience and leadership expertise to Neya. In the Air Force, as an integrated avionics craftsman, he directed and coordinated the maintenance of F-16, MQ-1, and F-117 aircraft to ensure operational readiness and mission success.

Following his service in the U.S. Air Force, Waller was a senior test and integration engineer for Viasat, Inc. He also held subsequent roles at Sierra Nevada Corporation as a senior programs manager, where he advanced to the role of director of business development in network communications systems in 2015. Most recently, Waller served as the soldier systems director at Ultra PCS, where he oversaw high-profile portfolios for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command portfolios, further cementing his role as a transformative leader in defense technology.

Waller, who resides near Fort Liberty, NC, attended the University of Arkansas Grantham with a focus in engineering management, as well Texas Tech University for multi-disciplinary studies.
