We are pleased to announce that we have hired Dr. Patrick Rowe as a Senior Research Scientist. Patrick has over 23 years of practical experience in all applications of field and ground robotics. His specific areas of expertise include unmanned ground vehicle navigation, path planning, 2D and 3D perception, robotic manipulation and control, and overall system integration of complete robotic vehicles.
Over the course of his career, Patrick has led numerous multi-million dollar research and development projects for government and commercial customers to advance the state of the art in the field of robotics.
Patrick is the recipient of a 2006 U.S. Army Quality Award for the Small Business Innovation Research program, has served in a leadership position on the Technical Advisory Board of the Robotics Technology Consortium and holds 5 patents for various robotics technologies.
Patrick received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon.
